Hey y’all! My name is Toria and I’ve always enjoyed crafting with my grandma and helping her make things when I was younger. From her flower arrangements, decorative soaps, and yarn creations, I became obsessed with working with my hands.
I work from home, so going outside is my outlet. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic came along and my outlet was no more so I started playing around with yarn as a hobby. From needle-art yarn to chunky yarn, I had to have my hands on it…I guess my love with helping my grandma and my obsession with yarn became full throttle. I never thought my hobby would become anything, it was just a peaceful release from my 9-5. However, after continuous nagging (the good kind of nagging LOL) about turning my hobby into a business, I decided to go for it. April 2021, Trendy Yarn, LLC became a small business, which I operate from my home in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia.
My goal is to create unique, one of a kind products made from yarn for every person and fur baby to enjoy. All of Trendy Yarn’s products are hand-stitched, hand-knitted or hand-crotchet…basically what I’m trying to say is that every item is 100% Handcrafted By Me, Uniquely Just For You.
